Drilling pipe is a kind of pipe that is often used in the drilling department, but when it is used, it will generally be pickled and passivated to make the surface of the pipe better. However, when performing the pickling and passivation process, one of the steps is very critical and a step that often makes mistakes, that is, the chemical degreasing step. And the wrong operation of this step will lead to incomplete degreasing on the surface of the pipe, which will not only affect the appearance but also the texture. Therefore, in order to avoid this phenomenon, let's take a look at what matters to pay attention to when degreasing the drilling pipe.
1. When the drilling pipe is soaked in the groove, pay attention to the place where it is placed, and place the pipe in the air.
2. Use 12 ~ 15% nitric acid (by volume) to stop the chemical degreasing disposal. The temperature is 40 ℃ ~ 60 ℃ and the time is 2 ~ 4 hours.
3. Chemical degreasing adopts the way of foaming in the tank. The degreasing tank is made of steel plate, and the inner wall is covered with PVC or polyethylene.
4. During the immersion process, the drilling pipe should be moved up and down, or turned up and down, so that the inner cavity solution is changed from time to time to improve the effect. Take out the
drill pipe if necessary, rinse with water and then stop soaking.
5. Chemical degrease until the surface of the drilling pipe is completely wet with water.
In fact, in the process of pickling and passivation of geological
drilling pipes, in addition to chemical degreasing, there are steps of rinsing, passivation, and drying. These are indispensable, but no matter what step is performed, it must be carried out carefully and carefully. Only by professional operation can the effect of beautifying the drilling pipe be achieved. Of course, protective measures must be taken when operating to avoid unnecessary injuries caused by operation failure.
